Madden Cover 2009!

The Madden Curse might be one of the most - well know curse in sports.  The theory goes like this - any player who appears on the cover of EA’s Madden video game will soon suffer a debilitating injury and/or suddenly stop being good at football.  Well, as you can see it’s the all-time greatest QB - Brett Favre on the 09 cover.  Now that his football career is done and over, what can go wrong now?  So there goes the Madden curse, or is it!

Ford Motor Turns A Profit

Shocker Ford Motor Co. Turns a Profit!

Here is a shocker for everyone to read - Ford Motor Co. surprised me and most everyone on Thursday with a $100 million profit in for the first quarter.  This is mostly due to strong results in the ever so “great” Europe and South America markets.  In these two markets this has helped to offset the impact of a slumping U.S. economy.  Due to this ever growing bad U.S. economy and high gas prices there was a drop in the truck sales in most all their main market’s.  Ford’s shares rose almost 5 percent in pre-market trading today.
