A Trip To Remember

A Trip To Remember!

Here’s a trip to remember.  My father in law came up with an idea that we all should take a family vacation to the Grand Canyon and Las Vegas, NV.  I was a little against this at first.  But he wanted to do this before everyone was grown up and moved away, so I agreed.  Little did I know, he was planning this for a few years and had just about everything set.  To keep this story short, we just landed in Arizona and we were now in a rented mini van.  This is where all the fun starts.  I can’t count how many times my wife yelled at me, do you need to stand so close to the edge, why are you guys throwing rocks in the Canyon.  My father in law got yelled at a few 100 times as well.  Guys just having fun near the biggest hole in the world, what’s wrong with that?  After a full day there, we were ready to head to Las Vegas.  Road trip – Now we’re in Las Vegas, what a nightmare of a drive.  After we got checked in, the fun started again, no one was able to agree on anything, food, shows and places to see.  I did come across this site which has ideas on things to do in Las Vegas, that would have helped us.  The company is Trusted Tours and Attractions, which has a whole list of discounted tickets, sightseeing tours and other things to do.  They offer these services in 23 cities across America, even has a list of Things to do in New York City.  Back to the story.  Because we could not agree on anything the trip at times seem to be getting tiring at times.  Now, it wasn’t all fighting and yelling, we did all have a great time and would do it again, with a little extra planing and help from Trusted Tours and Attractions.  Oh, if you’re interested, Trusted Travels has an eNewsletter and you could enter to win a $150 iTunes gift card.  This offer ends Saturday, May 31st, 2008, so get over there soon.
