Ken Griffey Jr. 599th Homer!
On Saturday, one of the true MLB Players - Ken Griffey Jr. hit his 599th career homer. It came off Atlanta’s Jair Jurrjens, which made Jurrjenn the 383rd pitcher to give up a homer to Griffey. Griffey is one homerun from joining the 600-homerun club. The homerun club membership roll is, *Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays and Sammy Sosa. So far this year homeruns have been very hard for him. He’s had a long run between homeruns already this year. I truly can’t wait until he hits his 600th homerun. I have watched his career since his rookie year in 1989. Griffey Jr. is one of the last true honest players.
