A Great Summer Trip!
Every year my wife and I like to be able to take a family vacation. We have visited many different places like Disney World, Mexico, the Bahamas, Las Vegas, the Grand Canyon and many more. Last summer when we were making our plans we went back and forth between going to Disney World and Wildwood, NJ. In the end we decided to take our vacation to Disney World.
Now that it’s June we have started talking about what we want to do this summer. There are so many things to do in New Jersey that we may end up deciding to take our trip to Wildwood, NJ this year. One thing we are both really excited about is the Radio Disney Concert Series that is going on this summer. Every Monday during the month of July some of the hottest Radio Disney’s musical artists will be appearing live on Morey’s Piers. Since we are big Disney fans this sounds great to us. Plus, the concerts are free.
There are so many Wildwood events that there is sure to be something for everyone to do there. I’m going to be looking into the Wildwood nj hotels that are available so we can start making some plans for a great summer vacation.
Detroit Pistons Fire Head Coach!
Just after 4 days to losing to the Celtics, President of basketball operations Joe Dumars for Detroit fires Head Coach Flip Saunders. Head coach - Flip Saunders had a year left on his contract. I personally think this is a dumb move. Flip Saunders had a great run with Detroit. His record was 176-70 in the regular season. Although his performance was 30-21 in the postseason, not that hot. I think whoever picks up Saunders will get a good deal.
Do You Have SLOBS!
Do this right now, look around your desk, and take inventory of your pens. When you’re done with your inventory write it down. Now, when you come in tomorrow, count your pens. I would be willing to bet that you’re a few pens less, and maybe some paper clips low. Here’s why, it’s the SLOBS. SLOBS are strange little office beings that lurk around your work area. You may have never seen one, but your missing things, Right? Ok, you may think this is funny, well, it kind of is, and I got a kick out of writing this. I did it because I found a site where you can play a game called SLOBS Racing. PLAY SLOB’S RACING!!!!! - you’ll like it.

Federal Reserve Chairman!
I just read about this news on the wire. Federal Reserve Chairman Ben Bernanke is hinting that there will be no further interest rate cuts because of the chance of inflation. From what I got out of this news report, Bernanke is hoping that the government’s $168 billion stimulus package of rebate checks for us and tax breaks for businesses will help the economy. I agree with him, these checks should help. Here’s the thing though, like most of us, we know times are bad, and are saving our checks. Yes, we should be spending them, but we’re not. Also, lowering the interest rate isn’t going to help anymore. We’ve already lowered it to our lowest in 4 years. Hopefully the experts will get a handle on this mess we’re all in. If they don’t, we’ll all be feeling it much harder than now.
