One Of The Greats!
Ken Griffey Jr. has final reach the mark of 600 homeruns in his career. This homerun like most of all his others was a perfect swing. Once the ball hit the bat, he and everyone else knew hit was homerun # 600. Griffey stood to admire his 600th homer before rounding the bases. I would have stood and admired it also. There are just a few that have hit more than 600 homeruns in their careers. It’s a matter of fact; he has become only the sixth player in history to reach that mark. I have posted in the past on the 600 homerun club, here it is again, *Barry Bonds, Hank Aaron, Babe Ruth, Willie Mays, Sammy Sosa and now Ken Griffey Jr. Griffery said, “I don’t think I touched any of the bases. I sort of floated around”. In my book, and most other’s, Griffey is one of the last Great’s to play this game we call baseball!
