Boy Band Promoter!

Do you all remember Lou Pearlman, the creator of the Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync?  Well he’s in the news again.  Right now he’s serving a 25-year prison sentence for a fraud conviction.  It seems that they just came up with a dollar amount he will need to pay back because of the scam he ran.  Ready for this one, it’s a whopping $300 million.  And on top of that the prosecutors’ are requesting interest payments to victims in the amount of $124 million.  I personally believe none of this money will ever be paid back.  The Jude even said he would take one month off his sentence for every $1 million paid back.
