Tonight Show!

The date has been set for funnyman Jay Leno’s last show.  His final show will be May 29, 2009.  Now, if you didn’t know this already Jay Leno isn’t happy about this mandatory retirement plan.  He really doesn’t want to call it quits yet.  But the people in charge at NBC are set with forcing Leno to retire.  The new host will be Conan O’Brien the Late Night Show host.  He will be taking over some time in June 09.  I personally think this whole thing sucks.  Leno has been hosting for the Tonight Show for 17 years.  I also thing Conan O’Brien will not do that great.  He’s funny, but the stupid kind of funny, and that doesn’t last long.  Oh well, I think Leno will find something else to do and NBC will regret forcing the retirement.

Leno will be fine. I read that he and his wife have been living off the money he makes from doing stand-up comedy and all his checks from the Tonight Show have been going straight into the bank. That’s gotta be a few hundred million. Plus, he’s got his three airplane hangars full of cars. Not to worry about Jay Leno!
