Vikings In The Playoffs

Vikings In The Playoffs!

The Minnesota Vikings have won the NFC North title when the beat the NY Giants today. Although the NY Giants had already wrapped up their playoffs they still played Minnesota hard. For the entire first half the Giants played their starters, which they could have been resting. So I guess this game was at lease a will deserve win for the Vikings. And come next weeks round one playoff game against the Philadelphia Eagles at Minnesota will be a big test for the Vikings. The game is on Sunday at 4:30 ET on (FOX). The Eagles have been an average team this year, but have played very hard and lost a lot of close games. They have the line over Minnesota by 3, so this will be a great game to watch.

If your wondering how the Eagles got in the playoffs with a record of 9-6-1 they did it with a win over Dallas, a Chicago loss at Houston and a Tampa Bay loss to Oakland. WOW, it seemed liked everything just went the Eagles way, could make for a good book if they win the Championship. Anyway, if your fan of the sport next week has a few great games being played, and this one is going to cause a lot screaming at the TV. Go Vikings!

GMAC Financial Services

GMAC Financial Services!

The U.S. Federal Reserve today gave way to letting GMAC Financial Services to become a bank holding company. By making way for this change GMAC Financial Services now can take on deposits and tap into the $700 billion bailout plan. And I’m sure that’s what they’re going to do, tap into the bailout fund. Some people think that if GMAC had to file for bankruptcy protection it would have destroyed GM as well. After all the two need each other to survive. These types of backroom deals by major companies and The Fed make me a little nervous. It seems lately that companies are getting away with all their past bad behavior. They do whatever they want, spend investors money freely and they when things hit the fan they come crying, it makes me sick. Now that we’ve bailout Wall Street and the major players in auto making the only question left to ask is, who’s next? After all the American people have been treated like a cash register. The only thing is, we’re not taking any money in, and we’re handing it out. The last time I checked that’s stealing, right?

I would also like to wish all my vistors a very Merry Christmas!

Still Time To Give!

Even though this holiday season is coming to an end there are still people that need your help, and it’s not too late. Now I’m sure a lot of you have already donated a lot of your time and your money. The program Sears Heroes at Home needs your help. This program helps bring the wishes of our military families facing hardship come true. This is a real important program for America, it shows that we still honor our soldiers and their families for what they do to keep America safe. This program will help improve the lives of our military’s families all across America. I even included a video to show how a simple pair of gloves given to a little girl can bring her close to her Dad who is overseas. There are a lot of stories just like the one in this video, so just check out their website to read more. And while you’re reading those amazing stories check out the wish lists and make your donation. If you’re looking to make one more donation make the Sears Heroes at Home it. You will be showing your support for the one’s who protect our country, America.

Big Problems

Big Problems!

I was just reading that troublemaker Plaxico Burress had a car crash in May of this year. If you live in New York you know whom Plaxico Burress is, the NFL star who shot himself in the leg. Or even if you’re a NFL fan you know that he plays for the NY Giants. Anyway, in May of this year he rear-ended a woman with his $140,000 Mercedes-Benz. And here’s the kicker; he had no insurance, what a fool. What kind of fool let’s the insurance on a $140,000 car get canceled? Well I guess we now have a winner. A report released by All-State Insurance stated that he wasn’t paying his premiums so they dropped him. After he was dropped by All-State he had his crash 3 days later. Now the woman is suing the pants off him. People like him make me so mad, he has just about everything but does everything wrong. I think it’s because these sports players get paid so much money that they think they need to spend it all right away. Did you know that a lot of these sport stars end up dead broke or in jail when their career is over? Just take a look at Michael Vick, he had the biggest NFL contract in history. His contract was will over $100 million. Now he’s filed for bankruptcy and sitting in jail. These are the people a lot of kids lookup to these days, which is very sad. I can go on here but I won’t. I hope Burress gets everything coming to him, he’s trouble and the NFL should kick him out for good.
