One of the most popular online hangouts’s, MySpace is getting into the online download business. Their nearly 120 million users will be able to listen to free music, as much as they want. Now there’s a catch, you can only listen to the music through your computer using your MySpace account. And of course there will be ads you will be looking at. By offering this free to MySpace users will definitely hurt other online music sellers like iTunes. That’s because if you like the song you’re listening to you can buy it for as low as 79 cents from Amazon’s site. And the thing that will set this service apart from iTunes is that you can download the songs as many times as you want. Plus the song will work on any MP3 player. I think iTunes is going to be in a little bit in trouble here. The recording labels are loving this new service. They’re hoping this will bring their numbers back in line. I read that CD sales where a little over $12 billion in the late 1990’s. Today they almost reach $6 billion. That’s a huge drop in sales, which is why recording labels love this new service.

Tonight I feel like a change is in order. Lately I’ve written a lot about what’s been happening in our economy. And you know what, it’s kind of bringing me down. So here’s a little change, and I hope it puts you in a good mood. I came across a site tonight called Howl at the Moon. They have eleven locations across the country, so make sure you check the site for a location near you. These guys have been in business since 1990. They have a Houston piano bar location that you and your friends would have a blast at. So if you’re looking for a great club to visit with your friends make sure you look these guys up. I know if one of these locations was near my home I would be visiting them. And they even offer corporate events for all you business people out there. Halloween’s Coming!

With the summer almost over it’s time to start thinking of those beautiful fall days. And with those fall days comes the traditional Halloween day. In my neighborhood it’s like a big Halloween party. We get hundreds of kids coming through the area, so all my neighbors and I all sit outside to hand out candy. If we don’t wait outside the doorbell would never stop ringing. Last year we went through about 300 pieces of candy in 2 hours. I had kids sitting on my lawn because they needed to rest from walking the area. I really don’t mind all the little kids coming through. I like it when the little kids are wearing some great looking costumes.
