Helmet Cam!
I came across a site tonight that offers a cool looking helmet camera. When I was looking at this camera I was thinking about back in the days when I did stupid stuff as a kid. I like to tell my wife stories about the things my friends and I did when we were kids. Then I started to think, what if I had this helmet camera called the POV.1 Helmet Camera. And you can even get cool looking case for it called the POV.1 Helmet Camera Case. How many of you out there would have loved to have had a helmet camera to record the things you did when you were a kid? I would be willing to bet that about 90% of what I would’ve recorded would have been sent into the world’s funniest videos. And I probably would’ve won about half of the time. Like the one time when my friend and I were jumping on his father’s pool heater cover. I can remember that heater cover wrapping right around us, man that was a dumb thing to do now that I look back. Of course there was other times, like jumping 8 cinder blocks stacked on top of each other. And I remember the outcome of that one, flying over handlebars landing on my head. I think that one would have definitely won the $10,000 prize. Now it’s time for you to think about the times you would have recorded if you had had a helmet cam.
Canseco knocked Out!
Did you all here about this? It seems that Canseco got knocked out in his boxing debut. The man that did it was former Philadelphia Eagle Vai Sikahema who is 45 years old. He took Canseco out in only 97 seconds. Canseco seemed to never have a chance against Vai Sikahema who was a Golden Gloves champ before playing football. By size Canseco should have taken out Vai Sikahema. Before his next fight he might want to take this sport seriously. And not to run off at the mouth until he has a few wins under his belt.
Lost Tribe Not So!
Do you remember when just about every news media outlet was reporting on the lost tribe found? Well, not the case, lost that is. Apparently the authorities have known of this tribe since 1910. I was reading that the group that released the photo taken by José Carlos Meirelles was trying to call out logging industry. The logging industry is going to destroy this tribe if they continue to log in the area. Well, it worked the word is out.
Big Brown Or Jockey!
I just about this story on the wire and had a good laugh. The horse’s trainer, Rick Dutrow Jr. is blaming Big Brown’s last place finish on the jockey - Kent Desormeaux. Come on, are you kidding me! Instead of honestly believing that the horse just didn’t have it at the end, we blame the jockey. Here’s the kicker, the trainer doesn’t object to Kent Desormeaux riding Big Brown in the next scheduled race. He wants to leave that decision up to co-owner Michael Iavarone. What I think is that it’s no ones fault, the house ran out of gas.
