The will for Michael Jackson has been filed with the court in Los Angeles today. The will was written back in 2002 and names his mother as the beneficiary of the trust. The will has also states that his mother be the guardian of his 3 children. The will also leaves out a few key people in his life. Two of those key people are his former wife Debbie Rowe and his father Joe Jackson. His former wife his the mother of the 2 oldest. And as for his father people think he was left out because he was a jerk to Michael when he was growing up. His father also was very mean to other family members, as well as very controlling. A lot of people are wondering what’s going to happen now. There’s going to be a lot of family fighting for the millions of dollars Michael’s name will produce.

I talked earlier today about heading to Branson, Missouri for our up coming vacation. I went to those two Hilton hotels again, the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel to see what else they offer. And what I saw read I was amazed. I’m talking beds with a pillowed topped mattresses, and a down comforter with a 250 thread count triple sheets. We’re talking nothing but comfort and a great night of sleep. And they top everything off with a flat panel TV. That’s just a few great things in your room, wait to you see their dinning rooms and other amenities.

Now, not only staying in a great hotel will complete this family vacation. The entertainment around the hotel will complete and tie everything together. The nightly river walks, shops, boutiques and the brand new Payne Stewart Golf Club are places for me. Well, maybe the new golf course more than anything else. I could spend most of the week just playing golf. But of course that’s not the only thing I would do. I think I would try to get out and take in as much as I could. And I would also do my best to just relax and take in the area.

I was just reading a report online that stated that if you have plans to fly you should buy now. Airlines are in the process of raising their prices because fuel prices are going up. What I think is that their taking avenge of our up coming vacations. Airlines know this is major travel time for a lot of people. But what they fail to see is that people like me will drive instead of paying extra fees. I told my wife that there is no way I’m going to pay extra just to bring our clothes. Airlines are charging around $20 per bag one way, which is a ripe off. And now their increasing the seat price by $20 per person. So if you plan on flying buy now, before they increase their prices. But if you can do the drive, do it, and save yourself some cash.

Lately it has been getting more and more depressing to watch the news on TV. At times it‘s even more depressing to poke around on the internet. It seems like where ever I turn I’m coming across bad news. Anyway this is how it’s been for me lately, and I sure I’m not alone, I know I‘m not alone. What I really need to do is turn everything off, the TV and the internet. This way I can get back to the basics, well somewhat. What I really need to do is get back to planning our next family vacation, which is coming up fast. We’re still trying to figure out where to go. One place we’ve looked at is Branson, Missouri, never been there but seems like a lot of fun. They have a couple pretty cool hotels there, the Hilton Promenade at Branson Landing and the Hilton Branson Convention Center Hotel. And if your into golf like I am they have a new course there called the Payne Stewart Golf Club, which is managed by Hilton. And from what I read they have museums, theme parks and 49 live entertainment theaters, plus much more. If we decide to go there I would hit the golf course just about every day and then go shopping in the entertainment distract, then top off every night with a great dinner. I was just reading that the death of Pop King Michael Jackson will cost his up coming 50 show in London will cost the event promoter a ton of money. The promoter, AEG Live said they could lose almost $40 million dollars if their insurance doesn’t cover it. Me personally I say suck it up AEG Live, you where glad to think you where going to make a ton of money off him. The man died, and your worried about your money. You (AEG Live) know you where taking a risk, and if you didn’t, shame on you. Michael Jackson was one of the most unpredictable performances in the music business. He was one of the weirdest people on the face of earth, but that shouldn’t take away from his music. He was one of the greatest performers ever. So I say to AEG Live, show that you at lease care about him, not your money.

One of the best NHL players to play the game will not be rejoining his team next year. That person is no other than Chris Chelios, with the Detroit Red Wings. It sure would have been a sweet end to his career had Detroit won the Cup. But anyways, he’s 47 years old, he should have really retired a few years ago. He really doesn’t play much, he acts the role as a coach for the young players. He’s been with the Red Wings since 1999, he’s won a few Cup’s, he should walk away now. I say that because he still wants to play. He’s going to get himself hurt if he stays any longer, he had a great career, and he will end up in the NHL Hall of Fame. Someone close to him needs to really step in and tell him it’s over playing, but maybe try coaching a team. He would make a great coach, that’s where he needs to be at this point.

The New Orleans Saints are staying put till the year 2025. The Saints and the state of Louisiana have agreed to a non related football deal to keep them. The deal that will keep the Saints in town is a lease of office space from the owner of the New Orleans Saints. The Saints owner will be purchasing a vacant office complex and a vacant mall next to the Louisiana Superdome. This will help redevelop the area and help the Saints to bring in another form of income. This really is just another way for the state to keep the money following to the Saints, and everyone knows that. Anyway, the state House of Reps. approved the deal and the Govenor will sign off on it.
